Poultry litter is a mixture of excreta, feed, feathers, and bedding material. Poultry litter is useful as a fertilizer due to the presence of nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium. Litter is commonly used for growing corn, soybeans, potatoes, tomatoes, leafy vegetables, and cover crops.
