We study Quantum Field Theory (QFT) on a background de Sitter spacetime dSd+1. Our main tool is the Hilbert space decomposition in irreducible unitarity representations of its isometry group SO(d + 1, 1). Throughout this work, we focus on the late-time physics of dSd+1, in particular on the boundary operators that appear in the late-time expansion of bulk local operators. As a first application of the Hilbert space formalism, we recover the Källen-Lehmann spectral decomposition of bulk two… Expand

Analyticity and Unitarity for Cosmological Correlators
• Physics
• 2021
We study the fundamentals of quantum field theory on a rigid de Sitter space. We show that the perturbative expansion of late-time correlation functions to all orders can be equivalently generated byExpand
Scalar two-point functions at the late-time boundary of de Sitter
• Physics
• 2021
We calculate two-point functions of scalar fields of mass m and their conjugate momenta at the late-time boundary of de Sitter with Bunch-Davies boundary conditions, in general d+ 1 spacetimeExpand
A Tail of Eternal Inflation
Non-trivial inflaton self-interactions can yield calculable signatures of primordial nonGaussianity that are measurable in cosmic surveys. Surprisingly, we find that the phase transition to slow-rollExpand
From Schwinger to Wightman: all conformal 3-point functions in momentum space
All conformal correlation functions of 3 scalar primary operators are constructed in an axiomatic way, relying only on conformal symmetry and causality. The construction makes use of the R-productExpand
Holographic Complexity and de Sitter Space

The S-matrix bootstrap. Part I: QFT in AdS
• Physics
• 2016
A bstractWe propose a strategy to study massive Quantum Field Theory (QFT) using conformal bootstrap methods. The idea is to consider QFT in hyperbolic space and study correlation functions of itsExpand
A Mellin space approach to cosmological correlators
We propose a Mellin space approach to the evaluation of late-time momentum-space correlation functions of quantum fields in ( d + 1)-dimensional de Sitter space. The Mellin-Barnes representationExpand
Perturbative S-matrix for massive scalar fields in global de Sitter space
• Physics
• 2012
We construct a perturbative S-matrix for interacting massive scalar fields in global de Sitter space. Our S-matrix is formulated in terms of asymptotic particle states in the far past and future,Expand
TWO-POINT FUNCTIONS AND QUANTUM FIELDS IN DE SITTER UNIVERSE
• Physics

We present a theory of general two-point functions and of generalized free fields in d-dimensional de Sitter space-time which closely parallels the corresponding Minkowskian theory. The usualExpand
The Inflationary Wavefunction from Analyticity and Factorization
We study the analytic properties of tree-level wavefunction coefficients in quaside Sitter space. We focus on theories which spontaneously break dS boost symmetries and can produce significantExpand

• Physics
• 2013
We study massive real scalar $\phi^4$ theory in the expanding Poincare patch of de Sitter space. We calculate the leading two-loop infrared contribution to the two-point function in this theory. WeExpand

We derive an eikonal approximation to high energy interactions in Anti-de Sitter spacetime, by generalizing a position space derivation of the eikonal amplitude in flat space. We are able to resum,Expand
The dS/CFT correspondence
A holographic duality is proposed relating quantum gravity on dSD (D-dimensional de Sitter space) to conformal field theory on a single SD−1 ((D-1)-sphere), in which bulk de Sitter correlators withExpand
