Aspect-Oriented technologies, including Aspect-Oriented Modeling, introduces a set of new constructions, e.g., advices or pointcuts, that improve the modularization of crosscutting concerns. These new constructions can make it more difficult to understand or visualize how a system works after the different (design) modules are composed together.
