We present a 5D gauge theory in warped space based on a bulk SU(2)L x SU(2)R x U(1)(B-L) gauge group where the gauge symmetry is broken by boundary conditions. The symmetry breaking pattern and the mass spectrum resemble that in the standard model (SM). To leading order in the warp factor the rho parameter and the coupling of the Z (S parameter) are as in the SM, while corrections are expected at the level of a percent. From the anti-de Sitter (AdS) conformal field theory point of view the…
Higgsless Electroweak Symmetry Breaking in Warped Backgrounds: Constraints and Signatures
We examine the phenomenology of a warped 5-dimensional model based on SU(2)L× SU(2)R× U(1)B−L model which implements electroweak symmetry breaking through boundary conditions, without the presence of
Higgsless Electroweak Symmetry Breaking from Theory Space
We investigate unitarity of W + W − scattering in the context of theory space models of the form U(1) × [SU(2)] N × SU(2) N+1, which are broken down to U(1) EM by non-linear Σ fields, without the
Electroweak symmetry breaking without a Higgs boson in warped backgrounds: Constraints and signatures
A warped 5-dimensional SU(2){sub L} x SU(2){sub R} x U(1){sub B-L} model has been recently proposed to implement electroweak symmetry breaking through boundary conditions, without the presence of a
Higgsless theory of electroweak symmetry breaking from warped space
We study a theory of electroweak symmetry breaking without a Higgs boson, recently suggested by Csaki et al. The theory is formulated in 5D warped space with the gauge bosons and matter fields
Gauge-Higgs unification in orbifold models
Six-dimensional orbifold models where the Higgs field is identified with some internal component of a gauge field are considered. We classify all possible T-2/Z(N) orbifold constructions based on a
Anomaly-matching and Higgs-less effective theories
We reconsider the low-energy effective theory for Higgs-less electroweak symmetry breaking: we study the anomaly-matching in the situation where all Goldstone fields disappear from the spectrum as a
The S-parameter in holographic technicolor models
We study the S parameter, considering especially its sign, in models of elec- troweak symmetry breaking (EWSB) in extra dimensions, with fermions localized near the UV brane. Such models are
Baryon number in warped grand unified theories: model building and (dark matter related) phenomenology
In the past year, a new non-supersymmetric framework for electroweak symmetry breaking (with or without Higgs) involving SU(2)L × SU(2)R × U(1)B−L in higher dimensional warped geometry has been
