The dynamics of the large‐scale structure of the universe enjoys at all scales, even in the highly non‐linear regime, a Lifshitz symmetry during the matter‐dominated period. In this paper we propose a general class of six‐dimensional spacetimes which could be a gravity dual to the four‐dimensional large‐scale structure of the universe. In this set‐up, the Lifshitz symmetry manifests itself as an isometry in the bulk and our universe is a four‐dimensional brane moving in such six‐dimensional…

Stable Clustering Ansatz, Consistency Relations and Gravity Dual of Large-Scale Structure
Gravitational clustering in the nonlinear regime remains poorly understood. Gravity dual of gravitational clustering has recently been proposed as a means to study the nonlinear regime. The stable

The Large-N Limit of Superconformal Field Theories and Supergravity
We show that the large-N limits of certainconformal field theories in various dimensions includein their Hilbert space a sector describing supergravityon the product of anti-de Sitter spacetimes,
Renormalized cosmological perturbation theory
We develop a new formalism to study nonlinear evolution in the growth of large-scale structure, by following the dynamics of gravitational clustering as it builds up in time. This approach is
On the renormalization of the effective field theory of large scale structures
Standard perturbation theory (SPT) for large-scale matter inhomogeneities is unsatisfactory for at least three reasons: there is no clear expansion parameter since the density contrast is not small
Conformal Lifshitz gravity from holography
A bstractWe show that holographic renormalization of relativistic gravity in asymptotically Lifshitz spacetimes naturally reproduces the structure of gravity with anisotropic scaling: the holographic
Resumming cosmic perturbations
Renormalization group (RG) techniques have been successfully employed in quantum field theory and statistical physics. Here we apply RG methods to study the non-linear stages of structure formation
The effective field theory of cosmological large scale structures
A bstractLarge scale structure surveys will likely become the next leading cosmological probe. In our universe, matter perturbations are large on short distances and small at long scales, i.e.
Exact braneworld cosmology induced from bulk black holes
We use a new, exact approach in calculating the energy density measured by an observer living on a brane embedded in a charged black-hole spacetime. We find that the bulk Weyl tensor gives rise to
