At the moment, language resources do not contain the necessa ry information for large-scale metonymy processing. As a co ntribution, we here present a corpus annotated for metonymies. We describe a framework for annotating metonymies in domain-independe nt t xt that considers the regularity, productivity and underspecifica tion of metonymic usage.
