A bstractWe analyse the computation of the partition function of 5d TN theories in Higgs branches using the topological vertex. The theories are realised by a web of (p, q) 5-branes whose dual description may be given by an M-theory compactification on a certain local non-toric Calabi-Yau threefold. We explicitly show how it is possible to directly apply the topological vertex to the non-toric geometry. Using this novel technique, which considerably simplifies the computation by the existing…

Partition functions of web diagrams with an O7−-plane

A bstractWe consider the computation of the topological string partition function for 5-brane web diagrams with an O7−-plane. Since upon quantum resolution of the orientifold plane these diagrams

More on topological vertex formalism for 5-brane webs with O5-plane

We propose a concrete form of a vertex function, which we call O-vertex, for the intersection between an O5-plane and a 5-brane in the topological vertex formalism, as an extension of the work of [ 1

5d/6d DE instantons from trivalent gluing of web diagrams

A bstractWe propose a new prescription for computing the Nekrasov partition functions of five-dimensional theories with eight supercharges realized by gauging non-perturbative flavor symmetries of

Topological vertex formalism with O5-plane

We propose new topological vertex formalism for Type IIB $(p,q)$ 5-brane web with an O5-plane. We apply our proposal to 5d $\mathcal{N}=1$ Sp(1) gauge theory with $N_f=0,1,8$ flavors to compute the

Refined topological vertex for a 5D Sp(N) gauge theories with antisymmetric matter

We consider Type IIB 5-brane web diagrams for 5d $Sp(N)$ gauge theory with an antisymmetric hypermultiplet and $N_f$ fundamental hypermultiplets. The corresponding 5-branes can be obtained by

Bootstrapping BPS spectra of 5d/6d field theories

Abstract We propose a systematic approach to computing the BPS spectrum of any 5d/6d supersymmetric quantum field theory in Coulomb phases, which admits either gauge theory descriptions or geometric

Five-brane webs, Higgs branches and unitary/orthosymplectic magnetic quivers

Abstract We study the Higgs branch of 5d superconformal theories engineered from brane webs with orientifold five-planes. We propose a generalization of the rules to derive magnetic quivers from

Thermodynamic limit of Nekrasov partition function for 5-brane web with O5-plane

Abstract: In this paper, we study 5d N = 1 Sp(N) gauge theory with Nf (≤ 2N + 3) flavors based on 5-brane web diagram with O5-plane. On the one hand, we discuss SeibergWitten curve based on the dual

Instanton operators and the Higgs branch at infinite coupling

A bstractThe richness of 5d N=1$$ \mathcal{N}=1 $$ theories with a UV fixed point at infinite coupling is due to the existence of local disorder operators known as instanton operators. By considering

Spheres, charges, instantons, and bootstrap: A five-dimensional odyssey

A bstractWe combine supersymmetric localization and the conformal bootstrap to study five-dimensional superconformal field theories. To begin, we classify the admissible counter-terms and derive a

Topological strings and 5d TN partition functions

A bstractWe evaluate the Nekrasov partition function of 5d gauge theories engineered by webs of 5-branes, using the refined topological vertex on the dual Calabi-Yau three-folds. The theories include

Exact partition functions of Higgsed 5d TN theories

A bstractWe present a general prescription by which we can systematically compute exact partition functions of five-dimensional supersymmetric theories which arise in Higgs branches of the TN theory.

The Topological Vertex

We construct a cubic field theory which provides all genus amplitudes of the topological A-model for all non-compact toric Calabi-Yau threefolds. The topology of a given Feynman diagram encodes the

Non-Lagrangian theories from brane junctions

A bstractIn this article we use 5-brane junctions to study the 5D TN SCFTs corresponding to the 5D $ \mathcal{N} $ = 1 uplift of the 4D $ \mathcal{N} $ = 2 strongly coupled gauge theories, which are

Orbifolds of M-strings

We consider M-theory in the presence of M parallel M5-branes prob- ing a transverse AN−1 singularity. This leads to a superconformal theory with (1,0) supersymmetry in six dimensions. We compute the

Webs of (p,q) 5-branes, five dimensional field theories and grid diagrams

We continue to study 5d N = 1 supersymmetric field theories and their compactifications on a circle through brane configurations. We develop a model, which we call (p,q) Webs, which enables simple

Instanton counting, Macdonald function and the moduli space of D-branes

We argue the connection of Nekrasov's partition function in the Ω background and the moduli space of D-branes, suggested by the idea of geometric engineering and Gopakumar-Vafa invariants. In the

Strings of Minimal 6d SCFTs

We study strings associated with minimal 6d SCFTs, which by definition have only one string charge and no Higgs branch. These theories are labelled by a number n with 1≤n≤8 or n=12 . Quiver theories

5-dim superconformal index with enhanced En global symmetry
