The purpose of the study was to evaluate the efficacy and safety of topiramate (TPM) as adjunctive therapy in children, adolescents and young adults with Lennox-Gastaut syndrome (LGS). We performed a prospective open label add-on study in 45 patients (age 4-34 years, mean 15.9 years) with LGS and refractory seizures.
