We investigate the tomographical structure of pion and kaon in light cone quark model (LCQM). In particular, we study the parton distribution amplitude (PDA) of pion and kaon. We obtain the parton distribution function (PDF) and the generalized parton distributions (GPDs) of the pion and kaon. The valence quark PDA and PDF of pion, after QCD evolution, are found to be consistent with the data from the E791 and the E615 experiments at Fermilab, respectively. Further, we investigate the…

Revealing pion and kaon structure via generalised parton distributions

Clear windows onto emergent hadron mass (EHM) and modulations thereof by Higgs boson interactions are provided by observable measures of pion and kaon structure, many of which are accessible via

Pion-photon transition form factor in light cone sum rules and tests of asymptotics

We study the pion-photon transition form factor (TFF) $F^{\gamma*\gamma\pi^0}(Q^2)$ using a state-of-the art implementation of light cone sum rules (LCSRs) within fixed-order QCD perturbation theory.

HERMES Collaboration

Cross section ratios for deep-inelastic scattering from 14 N and 3 He with respect to 2 H have been measured by the HERMES experiment at DESY using a 27.5 GeV positron beam. The data cover a range in

Pion valence structure from Ioffe-time parton pseudodistribution functions

We present a calculation of the pion valence quark distribution extracted using the formalism of reduced Ioffe-time pseudodistributions or more commonly known as pseudo-PDFs. Our calculation is

Study of kaon structure using the light-cone quark model

We investigate the various distributions explaining multi-dimensional structure of kaon at the level of its constituents ($u$ and $\bar{s}$) using the light-cone quark model. The overlap form of

Predicting the light-front holographic TMDs of the pion

We predict the twist-2 Transverse Momentum Dependent parton distribution functions (TMDs) of the pion, namely the unpolarized quark TMD, $f_{1}(x, k_\perp)$, and the transversely polarized quark TMD,

Pion and kaon parton distribution functions from basis light front quantization and QCD evolution

We investigate the parton distribution functions (PDFs) of the pion and the kaon by combining QCD evolution with the basis light front quantization (BLFQ). The initial PDFs result from the light

Timelike Compton scattering off the neutron and generalized parton distributions

Abstract. We study the exclusive photoproduction of an electron-positron pair on a neutron target in the Jefferson Lab energy domain. The reaction consists of two processes: the Bethe-Heitler and the

Symmetry, symmetry breaking, and pion parton distributions

Pion valence, glue and sea distributions are calculated using a continuum approach to the two valence-body bound-state problem. Since the framework is symmetry preserving, physical features of the
