To be honest, I have about four drinks per day - a beer when I get home from work, a couple of glasses of wine with dinner, and a nightcap. Sometimes, I also have a glass of wine at lunch. Alcohol has never interfered with my work or caused any problems in my home life, and my liver is fine, so I do not think I have an "alcohol problem." plus, I expect that my alcohol use has something to do with my terrific HDL-cholesterol level - 57 mg/dL.
