The concentrations of erythorbic acid(ErA) and L-ascorbic acid(AsA) in the tissues of guinea pigs orally administered AsA or ErA were measured over the passage of time using high-performance liquid chromatography. Guinea pigs were each administered 5 mg AsA or 100 mg ErA, and killed at a specified time thereafter.
