Experiments were performed to determine whether thyroid-stimulating hormone (TSH) receptors coupled to adenylate cyclase are present in both benign and differentiated malignant thyroid tumors, and to identify abnormalities in the TSH receptor-adenylate cyclase system in neoplastic thyroid tissue.
