Working with intestinal parasites of donkeys and morhological identification of adult strongyles, we found ome small imprecisions in the identification keys of ichtenfels et al. (2008) published by your journal. Out f 3680 parasites isolated, the morphological features of 35 specimens were not fully consistent with Lichtenels’ descriptions, keys or images. These specimens clearly elonged to 3 species. Our final identification – Cylicocyclus sini (16 specimens), Cylicocyclus radiatus (107… Expand
Response to Stancampiano et al. (2013), Letter to the Editor.
TLDR
It is believed that the specimen identified by Stancampiano t al. (2013) as C. radiatus is not that rare pecies, but is Cylicocyclus ashworthi, a common species in urope, and the misidentification probably resulted from an incorrect decision in couplet 2 of the authors' key to the species. Expand

TLDR
The new species is distinguished from the smaller members of the genus by the presence of a `club-foot' posterior in the female specimens, 40–46 elements in the external leaf-crown and a deep division of the dorsal ray which extends beyond the origin of the externodorsal ray. Expand
