We consider a non-associative generalization of supersymmetry based on three-point associators $\left[ Q_x, Q_y, Q_z \right]$ for $Q_{a, \dot a}$ supersymmetric generators. Such associators are connected with the product $Q_y x_{a \dot a}$. We show that such associators lead to a weak version of non-commutative spacetime: in front of the coordinate commutator there is a prefactor.

A pedagogical overview of cosmology in the presence of a cosmological constant, observational constraints on its magnitude, and the physics of a small (and potentially nonzero) vacuum energy are presented.
We discuss issues related with the cosmological constant problem in the light of recent observations which tend to indicate that the expansion of the universe is presently undergoing an acceleration.
