We study 10D super Yang-Mills E8 theory on the 6D torus compactification with magnetic fluxes. We study systematically the possibilities for realizing 4D supersymmetric standard models with three generations of quarks and leptons. We also study quark mass matrices.

Wilson-line scalar as a Nambu-Goldstone boson in flux compactifications and higher-loop corrections

- Physics
- 2019

We study a scalar zero mode originated from extradimensional components of a gauge field in a six-dimensional theory compactified on a magnetized torus. We confirm it is a Nambu-Goldstone boson of…

Flavor structure in $SO(32)$ heterotic string theory

- Physics
- 2016

We study the flavor structure in $SO(32)$ heterotic string theory on six-dimensional torus with magnetic fluxes. In particular, we focus on models with the flavor symmetries $SU(3)_f$ and…

Classification of three-generation models on magnetized orbifolds

- Physics
- 2015

Abstract We classify the combinations of parameters which lead three generations of quarks and leptons in the framework of magnetized twisted orbifolds on T 2 / Z 2 , T 2 / Z 3 , T 2 / Z 4 and T 2 /…

Supersymmetric models on magnetized orbifolds with flux-induced Fayet-Iliopoulos terms

- Physics

We study supersymmetric (SUSY) models derived from the ten-dimensional SUSY Yang- Mills theory compactified on magnetized orbifolds, with nonvanishing Fayet-Iliopoulos (FI) terms induced by magnetic…

Dark matter from unification

- Physics
- 2013

We consider a minimal extension of the Standard Model (SM), which leads to unification of the SM coupling constants, breaks electroweak symmetry dynamically by a new strongly coupled sector and leads…

Superfield description of (4+2n)-dimensional SYM theories and their mixtures on magnetized tori

- Physics

Abstract We provide a systematic way of dimensional reduction for ( 4 + 2 n ) -dimensional U ( N ) supersymmetric Yang–Mills (SYM) theories ( n = 0 , 1 , 2 , 3 ) and their mixtures compactified on…

E6,7,8 magnetized extra-dimensional models

- Physics
- 2010

We study 10D super Yang–Mills theory with the gauge groups E6, E7 and E8. We consider the torus/orbifold compactification with magnetic fluxes and Wilson lines. They lead to 4D interesting models…

Three generation magnetized orbifold models

- Physics

We study (4+2n)-dimensional N=1 super Yang-Mills theory on the orbifold background with non-vanishing magnetic fluxes. In particular, we study zero-modes of spinor fields. The flavor structure of our…

Higher order couplings in magnetized brane models

- Physics
- 2009

We compute three-point and higher order couplings in magnetized brane models. We show that higher order couplings are written as products of three-point couplings. This behavior is the same as higher…

Fermions and parity violation in dimensional reduction schemes

- Physics

Abstract Dimensional reduction, previously applied to Yang-Mills theories, is extended to gauge theories with spinor fields. It is shown that a fairly realistic model in Minkowski space can be…
