A bstractWe propose new infinite families of non-supersymmetric IR dualities in three space-time dimensions, between Chern-Simons gauge theories (with classical gauge groups) with both scalars and fermions in the fundamental representation. In all cases we study the phase diagram as we vary two relevant couplings, finding interesting lines of phase transitions. In various cases the dualities lead to predictions about multi-critical fixed points and the emergence of IR quantum symmetries. For…

Master 3d bosonization duality with boundaries

A bstractWe establish the action of the three-dimensional non-Abelian bosonization dualities in the presence of a boundary, which supports a non-anomalous two-dimensional theory. In particular, we

New and old fermionic dualities from 3d bosonization

We construct novel fermion-fermion dualities in 2 + 1-dimensions using 3d bosonization dualities. This is achieved by relating two-node quiver theories using both the flavor-bounded and

Novel 3d bosonic dualities from bosonization and holography

A bstractWe use 3d bosonization dualities to derive new non-supersymmetric dualities between bosonic quiver theories in 2 + 1 dimensions. It is shown that such dualities are a natural non-Abelian

Phases of two adjoints QCD3 and a duality chain

We analyze the 2+1 dimensional gauge theory with two fermions in the real adjoint representation with non-zero Chern-Simons level. We propose a new fermion-fermion dualities between strongly-coupled

Generalization of QCD3 symmetry-breaking and flavored quiver dualities

Abstract We extend the recently proposed symmetry breaking scenario of QCD3 to the so-called “master” (2 + 1)d bosonization duality, which has bosonic and fermionic matter on both ends. Using

Dualities and phases of 3 d N = 1 SQCD

We study gauge theories with N = 1 supersymmetry in 2+1 dimensions. We start by calculating the 1-loop effective superpotential for matter in an arbitrary representation. We then restrict ourselves

Charting the phase diagram of QCD3

Abstract We study the phase diagram of SU (N) gauge theory in three space-time dimensions with a Chern-Simons term at level k, coupled to two sets of fundamental fermions with masses m 1 and m

A master bosonization duality

A bstractWe conjecture a new sequence of dualities between Chern-Simons gauge theories simultaneously coupled to fundamental bosons and fermions. These dualities reduce to those proposed by Aharony

On thermal correlators and bosonization duality in Chern-Simons theories with massive fundamental matter

We consider Chern-Simons theory coupled to massive fundamental matter in three spacetime dimensions at finite temperature, in the large N limit. We compute several thermal correlators in this theory

N = 1 dualities in 2+1 dimensions

: We consider minimally supersymmetric QCD in 2+1 dimensions, with Chern-Simons and superpotential interactions. We propose an infrared SU( N ) $ U( k ) duality involving gauge-singlet (cid:12)elds

Bosonizing three-dimensional quiver gauge theories

A bstractWe start with the recently conjectured 3d bosonization dualities and gauge global symmetries to generate an infinite sequence of new dualities. These equate theories with non-Abelian product

Three dimensional bosonization from supersymmetry

A bstractThree dimensional bosonization is a conjectured duality between non-super-symmetric Chern-Simons theories coupled to matter fields in the fundamental representation of the gauge group. There

Nonsupersymmetric Dualities from Mirror Symmetry.

The equivalence of the intervening critical theories gives rise to several nonsupersymmetric avatars of mirror symmetry: this work finds dualities relating scalar QED to a free fermion and Wilson-Fisher theories to both scalar and fermionic QED.

Embedding three-dimensional bosonization dualities into string theory

A bstractWe give simple string theory embeddings of several recently introduced dualities between 2+1-dimensional Chern-Simons matter theories using probe brane holography. Our construction is

Phases of QCD3 from non-SUSY Seiberg duality and brane dynamics

We consider a nonsupersymmetric USp Yang-Mills Chern-Simons gauge theory coupled to fundamental flavors. The theory is realised in type-IIB string theory via an embedding in a Hanany-Witten brane

Chern Simons duality with a fundamental boson and fermion

A bstractWe compute the thermal free energy for all renormalizable Chern Simon theories coupled to a single fundamental bosonic and fermionic field in the ’t Hooft large N limit. We use our results

Exact Boson-Fermion Duality on a 3D Euclidean Lattice.

A recently conjectured duality between a critical boson and a massless two-component Dirac fermion extends this notion to gapless systems and sheds light on highly nontrivial problems such as the half-filled Landau level, the superconductor-insulator transition, and surface states of strongly coupled topological insulators.

Disorder operators in Chern-Simons-fermion theories

A bstractBuilding on the recent progress in solving Chern-Simons-matter theories in the planar limit, we compute the scaling dimensions of a large class of disorder (“monopole”) operators in U(N )k
