Three-Dimensional Optical Orthogonal Signature Pattern Codes for OCDMA

Abstract

A (u × v × w, k, λa, λc) optical orthogonal signature pattern code (3-D OOC) is a family C of (u × v × w) (0, 1)-matrices of Hamming weight k that satisfies two correlation properties. In this paper, new classes of three-dimensional (3-D) optical orthogonal signature pattern codes for applications to optical code-division multiple access (OCDMA) networks are proposed. The new classes are based in the two dimensional optical orthogonal signature pattern codes.
