We study the thermodynamical properties of electrically charged black hole solutions of a nonlinear electrodynamics theory defined by a power $p$ of the Maxwell invariant, which is coupled to Einstein gravity in four and higher spacetime dimensions. Depending on the range of the parameter $p$, these solutions present different asymptotic behaviors. We compute the Euclidean action with the appropriate boundary term in the grand canonical ensemble. The thermodynamical quantities are identified…

Thermodynamic analysis of black hole solutions in gravitating nonlinear electrodynamics

We perform a general study of the thermodynamic properties of static electrically charged black hole solutions of nonlinear electrodynamics minimally coupled to gravitation in three space dimensions.

Dilaton black holes with power law electrodynamics

Abstract. In this article, the new black hole solutions to the Einstein-power-Maxwell-dilaton gravity theory have been investigated in a three-dimensional space time. The coupled scalar,

Higher-dimensional charged f(R) black holes

We construct a new class of higher dimensional black hole solutions of $f(R)$ theory coupled to a nonlinear Maxwell field. In deriving these solutions the traceless property of the energy-momentum

In the context of the non-linear electrodynamics and the Einstein-massive gravity, we have obtained a $$4\hbox {D}$$4D non-linear charged AdS black hole solution. Then, we investigated its horizon

Thermodynamics of charged rotating dilaton black branes with power-law Maxwell field

In this paper, we construct a new class of charged rotating dilaton black brane solutions, with a complete set of rotation parameters, which is coupled to a nonlinear Maxwell field. The Lagrangian of

Thermal fluctuations of black holes with non-linear electrodynamics and charged Renyi entropy

We extend the charged Renyi entropy to a more general holographic scenario. Coupling an arbitrary non-linear electrodynamics Lagrangian density to AdS gravity, we analyse the thermodynamic features

Non-Linear Electrodynamics: Zeroth and First Laws of Black Hole Mechanics

The Zeroth and First Laws of Black Hole Mechanics are derived in the context of non-linear electrodynamics coupled to gravity. The Zeroth Law is shown to hold quite generally even if the Dominant
