The present study is elaborated to investigate the validity of thermodynamical laws in a modified teleparallel gravity based on higher-order derivative terms of torsion scalar. For this purpose, we consider spatially flat FRW model filled with perfect fluid matter contents. Firstly, we explore the possibility of existence of equilibrium as well as non-equilibrium picture of thermodynamics in this extended version of teleparallel gravity. Here, we present the first law and the generalized second…

Tsallis HDE-based reconstruction via correspondence scheme in a generalized torsion scalar theory

The present study is devoted to calculate the form of generic function present in the Lagrangian of the most generalized teleparallel gravity based on higher-order derivative terms of torsion scalar

Role of collisional matter in the framework of extended teleparallel theory

The purpose of this work is to examine the cosmic evolution in the presence of collisional matter (CM) with and without radiations in a modified Teleparallel theory involving a generic function f(T...

Reconstruction paradigm in a class of extended teleparallel theories using Tsallis holographic dark energy

The present paper investigates the exact form of generic functions present in different torsion-based modified gravitational frameworks using reconstruction technique. For this purpose, we consider

Evolution of anisotropic cosmic models in f(R,ϕ) gravity

In this paper, we will discuss cosmological models using Bianchi type I for anisotropic fluid in [Formula: see text] theory of gravity which involves scalar potential. For this purpose, we consider

Anisotropic stellar filaments evolving under expansion-free condition in f(R,T) gravity

In this paper, we have analyzed the role of a viable f(R,T) model, i.e. f(R,T) = R + αR2 + γRn + λT, while exploring the unstable regions of cylindrically symmetric gravitational source, where, R and

Dynamics of shearing viscous fluids in f(R,T) gravity

In this paper, we have analyzed the dynamical stability of shearing viscous anisotropic fluid with cylindrical symmetry in f(R,T) theory. We have chosen two viable f(R,T) models for dynamical

Study of thermodynamic laws in f(R,T,RμνTμν) gravity

We study first and second laws of black hole thermodynamics at the apparent horizon of FRW spacetime in f(R,T,RμνTμν) gravity, where R, Rμν are the Ricci scalar and Riemann tensor and T is the trace

Thermodynamic study in modified f(T)$f(T)$ gravity with cosmological constant regime

This study is conducted to examine the validity of thermodynamical laws in a modified f(T)$f(T)$ gravity involving a direct coupling of torsion scalar with matter contents. For this purpose, we

Scalar-tensor cosmology and GSLT with entropy corrections

This paper investigates the validity of generalized second law of thermodynamics using both the power law and logarithmic entropy corrected formulas in a general scalar-tensor gravity. For this

Black Holes and Entropy

There are a number of similarities between black-hole physics and thermodynamics. Most striking is the similarity in the behaviors of black-hole area and of entropy: Both quantities tend to increase

New General Relativity

A gravitational theory is formulated on the Weitzenboeck space-time, characterized by the vanishing curvature tensor (absolute parallelism) and by the torsion tensor formed of four parallel vector

Eigenfrequencies of rotationally and tidally distorted white dwarf models of stars

In the present paper we have studied the eigenfrequencies of small adiabatic barotropic pseudo-radial and nonradial modes of oscillations of the white dwarf models of rotating stars in binary
