We study the thermodynamic properties of massless Dirac fermions in graphene under a uniform magnetic field and Rashba spin-orbit coupling with a q−deformed Heisenberg algebra calculus. The thermodynamic functions such as the Helmholtz free energy, total energy, entropy and heat capacity are obtained by using an approach based on the zeta function and Euler-Maclaurain formula. These functions will be numerically examined for different values of η = 1i ln(q). In particular, the heat capacity in… Expand

Harmonic oscillator with time - dependent mass and frequency
We derive quantum solutions of a generalized inverted or repulsive harmonic oscillator with arbitrary time-dependent mass and frequency using the quantum invariant method and linear invariants, andExpand
The quantum group SUq(2) and a q-analogue of the boson operators
A new realisation of the quantum group SUq(2) is constructed by means of a q-analogue to the Jordan-Schwinger mapping, determining thereby both the complete representation structure and q-analoguesExpand
On q-analogues of the quantum harmonic oscillator and the quantum group SU(2)q
The quantum group SU(2)q is discussed by a method analogous to that used by Schwinger to develop the quantum theory of angular momentum. Such theory of the q-analogue of the quantum harmonicExpand

Quantization of the damped harmonic oscillator revisited
Abstract We return to the description of the damped harmonic oscillator with an assessment of previous works, in particular the Bateman–Caldirola–Kanai model and a new model proposed by one of theExpand
