FePt magnetic nanoparticles (MNPs) are expected to be a high-performance nanoheater for magnetic hyperthermia because of their high Curie temperature, high saturation magnetization, and high chemical stability. Here, we present a theoretical performance assessment of chemically disordered fcc-phase FePt MNPs.
