We formulated the Lambda(1405) (abbreviated as Lambda^*) --> (Sigma pi)^0 invariant-mass spectra produced in p+p --> p + Lambda^* + K^+ reactions, in which both the incident channel for a quasi-bound K^-p state and its decay process to (Sigma pi)^0 were taken into account realistically. We calculated M(Sigma pi) spectral shapes for various theoretical models for Lambda^*. They are asymmetric and skewed, and were compared with recent experimental data of HADES, yielding M(Lambda^*) = 1405 -9 +11…

This analysis investigated the formation of the Λ(1405) state, using the Generalized Optical Theorem and T-matrix operator, and applied a combined transition operator, Tmix, which contains T21 () and T22 (= TπΣ−π΢Σ) due to the initial channel mixing in the ΢(1385) formation.

During its long-lasting history, the $\Lambda(1405)$ has become a benchmark for our understanding of the $\rm SU(3)$ hadron dynamics. Starting with its theoretical prediction and later experimental

We have investigated the single-pole nature of the detectable Lambda(1405) in detail, by employing a chiral model having double poles of a KbarN-piSigma coupled channel T-matrix. The effects of the
