Structural and dynamical properties of a micellar solution are studied mainly through examining its rheological behavior in the semidilute regime. The micellar solution is made of a zwitterionic surfactant N-tetradecyl-N,N-dimethyl-3-ammonio-1-propanesulfonate, sodium dodecyl sulfate, and salty water. In particular, we are interested in how the system is affected when the ionic strength of the media is modified by adding salt. Until recently, it was known that this solution forms wormlike…

TLDR
These observations demonstrate microstructural transitions in two different modes: L-02 first induces 1-D micellar growth and as a result the viscosity increases, and finally after the system attains its maximum viscoelastic properties, L- 02 causes branching in the network structures.

TLDR
The main purpose of this study is to determine for the first time the structure of the self-assembled aggregates in the system made of 1,4 poly(1,3-butadiene)-polyethylene oxide diblock copolymer and water, and the rheological behavior of the solution.

Interaction between zwitterionic surface activity ionic liquid and anionic surfactant: Na(+)-driven wormlike micelles.
TLDR
The results show that the mixed [N-C(12), N'-CO(2)-Im]/SDS system has a much lower cmc value and higher surface activity than individual surfactant, which is expected to have potential applications in some fields, such as in nanomaterials synthesis, personal care products, and flooding liquid for tertiary oil recovery.
