This paper reports a study in which certain hypotheses about the relation of Sixteen Personality Factor Test (16 PF) scores to hysteroidness or obsessoidness of personality, as measured by the Hysteroid-Obsessoid Questionnaire (HOQ) in a group of patients in the acute phase of functional psychiatric illness, were tested.
