Abstract

Asians are prone to the development of lentigines as a result of photoageing. Lasers and intense pulsed light sources have been used in the treatment of lentigines but there is a risk of post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation in Asian skin. This report examines the role of lasers and intense pulsed light sources in treating lentigines and other acquired pigmentary lesions in Asians.
