MM-093 significantly improved the mean disease activity score (DAS) 28 and the mean patient’s global assessment compared with placebo. A moderate response in the DAS28 score at week 12 was observed in 4 of the patients receiving MM-093, compared with none in the placebo group. Treatmentemergent adverse events were reported by 11 of the patients, but no serious adverse events or deaths occurred.
