Histochoice is a proprietary nontoxic, non-cross-linking fixative designed by the manufacturer to replace formaldehyde based fixation protocols. We compared Histochoice and formalin fixation for several cartilaginous tissues including, articular and growth plate cartilage, meniscus and intervertebral disc.
