We studied and treated prospectively 62 neurologically normal children with vesicoureteral reflux using urodynamic techniques to identify uninhibited bladder contractions with voluntary sphincteric obstruction (dyssynergia). All children received antibiotic prophylaxis. Anticholinergic drugs were used additionally to treat uninhibited bladder contractions.
