The ultrastructure of actinomycetoma grains caused by Streptomyces somaliensis.

Abstract

This study compares the in vitro ultrastructure of Streptomyces somaliensis with the grain formation seen in vivo. Cultured forms were cocco-bacillary with thick cell walls and septa.
