Summary1.Subjacent to the parenchyma of the ultimobranchial body in the frog, unmyelinated nerves within the connective tissue have been found to terminate on the basal portion of a few secretory cells. The characteristic bulbous endings of these axons contain three types of vesicles characteristic of sympathetic adrenergic nerves.
