Specimens of elasmobranchs, collected in the State of Santa Catarina, Brazil, were parasitized with Poecilacanthoidea trypanorhynch cestodes. Sharks of the species Prionace glauca harboured Callitetrarhynchus gracilis and Floriceps saccatus, and those of the species Sphyrna zygaena were infected with Callitetrarhynchus speciosus.
