The tadpole of Leptobrachium (Vibrissaphora) echinatum Dubois & Ohler, 1998 from northern Vietnam is described in detail with morphometric data. The internal oral features of this species are given. The comparison of this tadpole with three tadpoles of the closely related consubgeneric species, Lepto- brachium (Vibrissaphora) ailaonicum, allowed to confirm the specific validity of Leptobrachium (Vibrissaphora) echinatum. A comparison with available bib- liographic data for other tadpoles of the…

Tadpole of Atelopus franciscus from French Guyana, with Comments on Other Larvae of the Genus (Anura: Bufonidae)
TLDR
The tadpole of Atelopus franciscus from French Guyana is described, which resembles other larvae of the genus, especially those displaying a color pattern of symmetrical light marks, and is most similar to tadpoles having submarginal papillae.
Tadpole of the Frog, Leptopelis karissimbensis, from Rwanda (Anura: Arthroleptidae)
TLDR
The previously unreported tadpole of Leptopelis karissimbensis, an endangered treefrog from Rwanda, is described and exhibits a prominent white spot below the eye.
A New Species of the Leptopelis modestus Complex (Anura: Arthroleptidae) from the Albertine Rift of Central Africa
TLDR
A new species of Leptopelis from the L. modestus complex is described from forest and lacustrine habitats of the Albertine Rift of Central Africa, is superficially similar to topotypic L. modestyus from Cameroon, but it is distinguished by advertisement call, morphology, and sequences of 16S, cyt b, and RAG1.
A new species of the genus Theloderma Tschudi, 1838 (Amphibia: Anura: Rhacophoridae) from Tay Nguyen Plateau, central Vietnam
TLDR
A new species of small tree frog from a primary montane tropical forest of central Vietnam, Tay Nguyen Plateau, is described based on morphological, molecular, and acoustic evidence and is distinguishable from its congeners and other small rhacophorid species.
Molecular identification, description, and phylogenetic implications of the tadpoles of 11 species of Malagasy treefrogs, genus Boophis
TLDR
The tadpoles of 11 species of treefrogs (Boophis) in the Malagasy family Mantellidae show a rather good fit with recently published molecular phylogenetic data: species groups that were confirmed to be monophyletic in most cases have similar larval morphologies, and, in contrast, some cases of convergent evolution are apparent.
Comparative larval morphology of Madagascan toadlets of the genus Scaphiophryne: phylogenetic and taxonomic inferences
TLDR
Two morphological tadpole groups agree with previously published molecular phylogenetic data and support the classification of these species in the two subgenera Pseudohemisus and Scaphiophryne .
Molecular identifications and descriptions of the tadpoles of Rhacophorus kio Ohler & Delorme, 2006 and Rhacophorus rhodopus Liu & Hu, 1960 (Amphibia: Anura: Rhacophoridae)
TLDR
The tadpoles of Rhacophorus kio Ohler & Delorme, 2006 and Rhacaphorus rhodopus Liu & Hu, 1960, two sympatric species of the genus RhACophorus found in syntopy in Northwestern Thailand are molecularly identified, morphologically described and illustrated.
TAXONOMIC NOTES ON RHACOPHORID FROGS (RHACOPHORINAE: RHACOPHORIDAE: ANURA) OF SOUTHERN PART OF ANNAMITE MOUNTAINS (TRUONG SON, VIETNAM), WITH DESCRIPTION OF THREE NEW SPECIES
TLDR
Two new species of rhacophorid frogs of the genus Theloderma are described from high-elevation montane forest in Chu Yang Sin Mt. (Dak Lak Province) and lowland monsoon tropical forest in Annamite foothills in Binh Phuok, Lam Dong and Dong Nai provinces of Vietnam and Ecology and natural history of newly described taxa are discussed.
Evolutionary significance of oral morphology in the carnivorous tadpoles of tiger frogs, genus Hoplobatrachus (Ranidae)
TLDR
A molecular phylogeny based on 2430 base pairs of two nuclear and four mitochondrial genes corroborated monophyly of Asian and African Hoplobatrachus, and identified Euphlyctis as their sister group.

DESCRIPTIONS OF TWO NEW PELOBATID TOADS FROM YUNNAN
TLDR
Two new species of pelobatid toads were found in the course of an ecological survey of amphibians in the Mountain Ailao, Jingdong County, Yunnan Province in 1982 and are closely related to Oreolalax rugosus (Liu), but differs from the latter in having longer legs.

A simplified table adequate for staging "generalized" developmental series will be presented, which is original only to the extent that it is a simplification of those already in existence.
