I classify the cohomological 2D field theories based on a semi-simple complex Frobenius algebra A. They are controlled by a linear combination of κ-classes and by an extension datum to the Deligne–Mumford boundary. Their effect on the Gromov–Witten potential is described by Givental’s Fock space formulae. This leads to the reconstruction of Gromov–Witten (ancestor) invariants from the quantum cup-product at a single semi-simple point and the first Chern class of the manifold, confirming…

Cohomological field theories (CohFTs) were defined in the mid 1990s by Kontsevich and Manin to capture the formal properties of the virtual fundamental class in Gromov-Witten theory. A beautiful
Teleman's classification of 2D semisimple cohomological field theories
In his 2011 paper, Teleman proved that a cohomological field theory on the moduli space $\overline{\mathcal{M}}_{g,n}$ of stable complex curves is uniquely determined by its restriction to the smooth

We develop the deformation theory of cohomological field theories (CohFTs), which is done as a special case of a general deformation theory of morphisms of modular operads. This leads us to introduce

We extend the analytic theory of Frobenius manifolds to semisimple points with coalescing eigenvalues of the operator of multiplication by the Euler vector field. We clarify which freedoms,

Witten’s class on the moduli space of 3-spin curves defines a (nonsemisimple) cohomological field theory. After a canonical modification, we construct an associated semisimple CohFT with a
Twisted orbifold Gromov–Witten invariants
Abstract Let χ be a smooth proper Deligne–Mumford stack over ℂ. One can define twisted orbifold Gromov–Witten invariants of χ by considering multiplicative invertible characteristic classes of
CATEGORICAL PRIMITIVE FORMS OF CALABI–YAU A∞-CATEGORIES WITH SEMI-SIMPLE COHOMOLOGY
We study and classify categorical primitive forms for Calabi–Yau A∞-categories with semi-simple Hochschild cohomology, in terms of certain grading operator on its Hochschild homology. We use this

In this paper, we proved generating functions of Gromov-Witten cycles of the elliptic orbifold lines with weights (3,3,3), (4,4,2), and (6,3,2) are cycle-valued quasi-modular forms. This is a
A new spin on Hurwitz theory and ELSV via theta characteristics
• Mathematics
• 2021
We study spin Hurwitz numbers, which count ramified covers of the Riemann sphere with a sign coming from a theta characteristic. These numbers are known to be related to Gromov-Witten theory of

Abstract: The Gromov–Witten invariants of a smooth, projective variety V, when twisted by the tautological classes on the moduli space of stable maps, give rise to a family of cohomological field
Semisimple Frobenius structures at higher genus

Two-dimensional Topological Quantum Field Theories and Frobenius Algebras
We characterize Frobenius algebras A as algebras having a comultiplication which is a map of A-modules. This characterization allows a simple demonstration of the compatibility of Frobenius algebra
