Synthesis of triarylpyridines with sulfonate and sulfonamide moieties via a cooperative vinylogous anomeric-based oxidation

Novel magnetic nanoparticles with pyridinium bridges namely Fe3O4@SiO2@PCLH-TFA through a multi-step pathway were designed and synthesized and showed high recoverability and catalytic application of the prepared catalyst in the synthesis of new series of triarylpyridines bearing sulfonate and sulfonamide moieties was highlighted.

Medicinal Use of Testosterone and Related Steroids Revisited

Although these agents are currently regarded as rather older generation drugs and their use may lead to serious side-effects, they still have medicinal value as androgenic, anabolic, and even anti-androgenic agents.

Intellectual Background

Consequences of the Use of Anabolic-Androgenic Steroids for Male Athletes’ Fertility

Time to normalization is individual and depends on the type of prior steroid use and the dose and time of intake, sometimes exceeding 12 months after stopping drug use.
