The behavioral effects of the selective sigma ligand 1,3-di(2-tolyl)guanidine (DTG) were studied in rats. In the radial 8-arm maze, DTG (2, 4 and 8 mg/kg i.p.) reduced the number of arm entries in the spontaneous alternation task.
