Out of 1100 species of fishes with known karyotypes, intrapopulation polymorphism is only known in two or three and interpopulation polymorphism in eleven (Vasiliev, 1980). This paper deals with the comparative analysis of the frequency of centric fusion and the frequencies of chromosome morphs in different size groups of Sicara flexuosa Raf.
