  • The chirp Z-transform (CZT) algorithm is known to be more flexible than the fast Fourier transform in calculating the frequency spectrum. However, its mathematical implementation is complex, and additional memory space is required. A modified CZT algorithm called the segmented chirp Z transform (SCZT) is introduced.
