The secondary generalized mycosis with numerous nodules throughout the digestive tract: Report of an unusual case

Abstract

pH-value rose to some extent, and sustained for a considerably long period of time, in contrast to the case of Sodium bicarbonate revealing a transient rise in the pH-value. 3) In cases of P 443 a transient pH-shift analogous to that of Sodium bicarbonate was observed immediately after the administration. However, comparison of the pH-values before and after the administration revealed that, contrary to the case of Sodium bicarbonate, in 5 cases out of 6 definitely higher pH-values were determined after the test, while in only 1 case essentially the same pH-value was obtained after and before the test.
