Steadfast Oceaneering, Inc. recently performed a successful search operation for a South African Airways 747 aircraft that had crashed in the Indian Ocean. Using a special deep ocean sonar system, the Steadfast search team located the aircraft in less than 14 hours of sonar search in water depths of over 4400 meters.
