The entanglement properties of two-electron atomic systems have been the subject of considerable research activity in recent years. These studies are still somewhat fragmentary, focusing on numerical computations on particular states of systems such as helium, or on analytical studies of model systems such as the Moshinsky atom. Some general trends are beginning to emerge from these studies: the amount of entanglement tends to increase with energy and, in the case of excited states…

Spatial entanglement in two-electron atomic systems
Recently, there has been considerable interest in investigating quantum entanglement in two-electron systems, such as two-electron model atoms and quantum dots. In this work, the quantum entanglement
Impurity Effects in Two-Electron Coupled Quantum Dots: Entanglement Modulation
We present a detailed analysis of the electronic and optical properties of two-electron quantum dots with a two-dimensional Gaussian confinement potential. We study the effects of Coulomb impurities
Entanglement and the Born-Oppenheimer approximation in an exactly solvable quantum many-body system
We investigate the correlations between different bipartitions of an exactly solvable one-dimensional many-body Moshinsky model consisting of Nn “nuclei” and Ne “electrons.” We study the dependence
Study of entanglement entropy and exchange coupling in two-electron coupled quantum dots
In the present work, we have studied the electronic properties of two-electron quantum dots with considering a two-dimensional modified Gaussian confinement potential in the presence of an impurity.
Quantum entanglement in (d−1)-spherium
There are very few systems of interacting particles (with continuous variables) for which the entanglement of the concomitant eigenfunctions can be computed in an exact, analytical way. Here we
Momentum disequilibrium and quantum entanglement of Rydberg multidimensional states
The quantum entanglement of the two components of a hydrogenic system with dimensionality $$D\ge 2$$ is investigated for the ground and excited states from first principles, that is, in terms of the
Quantum entanglement for helium atom in the Debye plasmas
In the present work, we present an investigation on quantum entanglement of the two-electron helium atom immersed in weakly coupled Debye plasmas, modeled by the Debye-Huckel, or screened Coulomb,
Entanglement and fermionization of two distinguishable fermions in a strict and non strict one-dimensional space
The fermionization regime and entanglement correlations of two distinguishable harmonically confined fermions interacting via a zero-range potential is addressed. We present two alternative

Quantum entanglement in two-electron atomic models
We explore the main entanglement properties exhibited by the eigenfunctions of two exactly soluble two-electron models, the Crandall atom and the Hooke atom, and compare them with the entanglement
Quantum entanglement in a soluble two-electron model atom
Abstract. We investigate the entanglement properties of bound states in an exactly soluble two-electron model, the Moshinsky atom. We present exact entanglement calculations for the ground, first and
Linear entropy as an entanglement measure in two-fermion systems
We describe an efficient theoretical criterion, suitable for indistinguishable particles to quantify the quantum correlations of any pure two-fermion state, based on the Slater rank concept. It
Entanglement in many-body systems
Recent interest in aspects common to quantum information and condensed matter has prompted a flurry of activity at the border of these disciplines that were far distant until a few years ago.
Quantum entanglement and the dissociation process of diatomic molecules
In this work, we investigate quantum entanglement-related aspects of the dissociation process of some selected, representative homo- and heteronuclear diatomic molecules. This study is based upon
General criterion for the entanglement of two indistinguishable particles (10 pages)
We relate the notion of entanglement for quantum systems composed of two identical constituents to the impossibility of attributing a complete set of properties to both particles. This implies
