OBJECTIVES We sought to describe the relationship between cholesterol and survival in patients with chronic heart failure (CHF). BACKGROUND Increasing lipoprotein levels are a cardiovascular risk factor. In patients with CHF, the prognostic value of endogenous lipoproteins is not fully clarified.
