The T-cell cytoskeleton is intimately involved in determining the efficiency and fidelity of the immune response. During T-cell interactions with antigen-presenting cells (APCs), dynamic remodeling of the actin cytoskeleton is particularly important for stabilizing long-lived integrin-dependent adhesive interactions.
