    • Abstract Two major electrophoretically distinct forms of the soluble α-glycerophosphate dehydrogenase can be detected in the different developmental stages of Drosophila melanogaster . A protocol is presented here for the complete purification of α-glycerophosphate dehydrogenase-3, the form found in larvae, and a modification of a previously published method for the purification of α-glycerophosphate dehydrogenase-1 the major form found in the adult.
