To investigate the prevalence of patellofemoral osteoarthritis (OA) and to explore the association between radiographic patellofemoral OA and symptoms and function 12 years after anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) reconstruction. The study participants (n = 221) were consecutively included at the time of an ACL reconstruction in the period from 1990 to 1997.
