The phenomenon of β-adrenergic hypersensitivity following propranolol withdrawal studied in normal subjects

Abstract

A study was carried out to determine whether beta-adrenergic hypersensitivity occurs in normal subjects following the abrupt withdrawal of the beta-adrenoceptor antagonist propranolol.
