Abstract. We recalculate the proton Dirac form factor based on the perturbative QCD factorization theorem, which includes Sudakov suppression. The evolution scale of the proton wave functions and the infrared cutoffs for the Sudakov re-summation are carefully chosen such that the soft divergences from large coupling constants are diminished and perturbative QCD predictions are stabilized. We find that the King–Sachrajda model for the proton wave function leads to results which are in better… Expand

Nucleon form factors '99
• Physics
• 2000
The authors review recent progress in the experimental knowledge of and theoretical speculations about nucleon form factors, with special emphasis on the large Q{sup 2} region. There is now a longExpand
QCD analysis of p¯N→γ∗π in the scaling limit
• Physics
• 2005
Abstract We study the scaling regime of nucleon–antinucleon annihilation into a deeply virtual photon and a meson, p ¯ N → γ ∗ π , in the forward kinematics, where | t | ≪ Q 2 ∼ s . We obtain theExpand
Lambda b -> p, Lambda transition form factors from QCD light-cone sum rules
• Physics
• 2009
Light-cone sum rules for the Lambda(b) -> p, Lambda transition form factors are derived from the correlation functions expanded by the twist of the distribution amplitudes of the Lambda(b) baryon. InExpand
Generalized parton distributions
We give an overview of the theory for generalized parton distributions. Topics covered are their general properties and physical interpretation, the possibility to explore the three-dimensionalExpand
Probing the nucleon at large momentum transfer
Abstract The central role of soft nucleon matrix elements in reactions of high energy electrons or real photons with nucleons is emphasized. These soft matrix elements are described in terms ofExpand
Oscillating color transparency in piA-->pip(A-1) and gammaA-->piN(A-1)
• Physics
• 2002
The energy dependence of $90^o$ $cm$ fixed angle scattering of $\pi p \to \pi' p'$ and $\gamma p\to \pi^+ n$ at large momentum transfer are found to be well described in terms of interfering shortExpand
