The morphology and ultrastructure of the ovarioles ofRaphidia flavipes are described. The ovary ofRaphidia shows all the structural elements by which the telotrophic ovarioles of Megaloptera can be distinguished easily from those of polyphage Coleoptera or Hemiptera. This supports the view of sister-group relationship between the Raphididae and the Sialidae.
