We present compact analytic formulae for the one-loop amplitudes for Higgs + 4 parton scattering, 0 → ggggh , 0 → q ¯ $$ \overline{q} $$ qggh and 0 → q ¯ $$ \overline{q} $$ q q ¯ ′ $$ {\overline{q}}^{\prime } $$ q′h , mediated by a loop of massive coloured quarks. We exploit the correspondence with a theory in which a massive coloured scalar circulates in the loop to avoid a proliferation in the number of terms in the result. In addition, we use momentum twistors and high precision numerical…

Vector boson pair production at one loop: analytic results for the process q ¯ q(cid:96) ¯ g

Two-loop leading-color helicity amplitudes for three-photon production at the LHC

Abstract We calculate all planar contributions to the two-loop massless helicity amplitudes for the process $$ q\overline{q} $$ q q ¯ → γγγ. The results are presented in fully analytic form

Analytic results for scalar-mediated Higgs boson production in association with two jets

We present compact analytic formulae for all one-loop amplitudes representing the production of a Higgs boson in association with two jets, mediated by a colour triplet scalar particle. Many of the

Two-loop amplitude for mixed QCD-EW corrections to $gg \to Hg$

We report on the two-loop amplitude computation for the mixed QCD-electroweak corrections to the process gg → Hg, with exact dependence on the electroweak boson masses. This amplitude has been

Top-quark mass effects in H+jet and H+2 jets production

Abstract We present calculations of Higgs boson production via gluon-gluon fusion in association with one or two additional jets at next-to-leading order in QCD. The calculation of H+jet is exact in

Fiducial $q_T$ resummation of color-singlet processes at N$^3$LL+NNLO

We present a framework for $q_T$ resummation at N$^3$LL+NNLO accuracy for arbitrary color-singlet processes based on a factorization theorem in SCET. Our implementation CuTe-MCFM is fully

Fiducial qT resummation of color-singlet processes at N3LL+NNLO

Abstract We present a framework for qT resummation at N3LL+NNLO accuracy for arbitrary color-singlet processes based on a factorization theorem in SCET. Our implementation CuTe-MCFM is fully

Ans\"atze for Scattering Amplitudes from $p$-adic Numbers and Algebraic Geometry

Rational coefficients of special functions in scattering amplitudes are known to simplify on singular surfaces, often diverging less strongly than the naïve expectation. To systematically study these

Computational Challenges for Multi-loop Collider Phenomenology

Precision measurements at the LHC and future colliders require theory predictions with uncertainties at the percent level for many observables. Theory uncertainties due to the perturbative truncation

One-loop Higgs plus four gluon amplitudes: full analytic results

We consider one-loop amplitudes of a Higgs boson coupled to gluons in the limit of a large top quark mass. We treat the Higgs as the real part of a complex field ϕ that couples to the self-dual field

Higgs bosons at high pT

We present a calculation of $H+j$ at NLO including the effect of a finite top-mass. Where possible we include the complete dependence on $m_t$. This includes the leading order amplitude, the infrared

One-loop QCD and Higgs bosons to partons processes using six-dimensional helicity and generalized unitarity

We combine the six-dimensional helicity formalism of Cheung and O'Connell with D-dimensional generalized unitarity to obtain a new formalism for computing one-loop amplitudes in dimensionally

NLO Higgs+jet at large transverse momenta including top quark mass effects

We present a next-to-leading order calculation of H+jet in gluon fusion including the effect of a finite top quark mass $m_t$ at large transverse momenta. Using the recently published two-loop

Direct extraction of one loop rational terms

We present a method for the direct extraction of rational contributions to one-loop scattering amplitudes, missed by standard four-dimensional unitarity techniques. We use generalised unitarity in

Vector boson pair production at the LHC

We present phenomenological results for vector boson pair production at the LHC, obtained using the parton-level next-to-leading order program MCFM. We include the implementation of a new process in

A numerical evaluation of planar two-loop helicity amplitudes for a W-boson plus four partons

Abstract We present the first numerical results for the two-loop helicity amplitudes for the scattering of four partons and a W-boson in QCD. We use a finite field sampling method to reduce
