We assessed the extent of the oblique effect (OE) and the meridional orientation effect (MOE) for a chromatic motion task using red/green gratings throughout an 80 degrees visual field. Four different stimulus orientations were tested. Generally, sensitivity to chromatic motion decreased with increasing eccentricity regardless of the visual field meridian.
