Plasma levels of oxyphenbutazone were measured in beagle dogs following oral administration of oxyphenbutazone and salts of oxyphenbutazone phosphate. Dosage with sodium and calcium salts of oxyphenbutazone phosphate produced higher oxyphenbutazone plasma levels than dosage with oxyphenbutazone itself.
